Vegan Chia Bowl with Berries — Breakfast in 5 Minutes
A vegan chia bowl is a filling breakfast that takes less than 5 minutes to prepare – the soaking time is done overnight in the fridge. Unlike a classic smoothie, the bowl is firmer, with crunchy toppings and more texture. With our organic chia seeds, it becomes the perfect start to the day.

Tips & variations
- Chocolatey: Stir 1 tsp cocoa powder into the base.
- Higher protein: Mix in 1 tbsp soy yogurt or 1 tbsp almond butter.
- Seasonal: In winter with fried apple and cinnamon, in summer with mango and lime zest.
- Crunchier: toasted buckwheat instead of granola.
- Sweeter: more maple syrup or a hint of honey (honey: not vegan).
Storage
The chia base will keep sealed for 3–4 days in the fridge. Add toppings just before eating, otherwise granola and berries will get soggy. Ideal for meal prep: prepare 4 jars on Sunday evening and top fresh every morning throughout the week.

FAQ
How does a chia bowl differ from chia pudding?
The base is the same – chia with plant milk. The bowl is the opened, decorated version with toppings, so it's more of a breakfast than a dessert.
Which plant milk is best?
Almond drink is neutral, oat drink is slightly sweet, coconut milk is very creamy. Experiment to find your favorite.
Can I also eat the bowl during the day?
Of course. It works as a snack, dessert, or light lunch.
Why salt in a sweet recipe?
A pinch of salt enhances the flavors – without it, breakfast quickly becomes bland.
